Disability Studies & Deaf Studies: Intersections // Thursday, February 23rd
Please join the Transdisciplinary Disability Studies Working group for a conversation with Jeff Brune (Historian at Gallaudet University), Michael Davidson (Literature), Deniz Ilkbasaran (Linguistics), Carol Padden (Communications), and Rezenet Moges-Riedel (Lecturer at CSU Long Beach) about the intersections between Disability Studies and Deaf Studies.
All are welcome. Attendees are encouraged but not required to read essays selected by the panelists prior to the event. Information on the readings will be circulated on the list-serv prior to the event.
