Week 7 summary
Based on the reading, we talked about the reasons why Japan entered the Pacific War and the main concerns that Japanese government has are the western culture invasion and the shortage of the nature resources. In the comics, he described his life throughout the war and it shows the unflattened history to the audience from his personal experience. Also, it reflects the fascism and military takeovers caused the concerns of Japanese government about maintaining its empire.
