Here are all the post-it-note ideas we came up with during our Week 4 activity on wellness 🙂
Physical Wellness (Orange Post-it):
- Get fit/ be able to run a mile
- Workout at least 2-3 times a week (x3)
- Take advantage of RIMAC resources
- Eat 3 meals a day
- Gym every day
- Sleep more
- Workout with friends
- Stay hydrated
- Continue to eat healthy and try to keep a somewhat routine sleep schedule
- Don’t get hurt again!
- Create and exercise routine and stick to it
Social Wellness (Green Post-it):
- Become part of a cultural club and attend most meetings
- Make enough friends in each class to forma a study group per class
- Don’t go home on weekends, go to weekend events
- Go out much more
- Make more time for friends (x3)
- Make study buddies and talk to more people in my classes
- Get a BF
- Go to club meetings
- Attend school sponsored activities/ events
- Go to parties
- Find a solid reliable group of friends
- Join a club that’s worthwhile
Mental Wellness (Blue Post-it):
- Make better study habits
- Study enough to not be constantly stressed
- Take classes that won’t drive me crazy
- Be positive and proactive
- Get a humanly decent amount of sleep!
- Sleep earlier
- Sleep at least 7h
- Sleep more than 4h
- Incorporate study breaks >> Take time to sit/eat/socialize outside of Geisel
- Have fewer than 2 mental breakdowns this quarter
- Visit therapy fluffies
- Time manage so I can sleep
- More naps and sleep
Additional Wellness Goals (Pink Post-it):
- Don’t spend actual money on Starbucks every day… save money/ utilize dining-dollars
- Not failing any classes
- Visit the dogs
- Join an art club
- Visit home at least 2 times a month
- Party!
- Have enough supplied to take care of myself when I get sick
- Remember to keep in touch with family
- Knowing when to turn down a study group
- Actually use my agenda to keep track of due dates
- Think positive
- Be myself
- Try to understand what my Math Prof is saying
