<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>The influence God has over Locke → makes assumptions that people believe in God</span>

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>“Things are out of our control, end of the day the divine fate controls everything”</span>

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Puts God as a reason behind all our actions, he wants us to move past that.</span>

 

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Chapter 2 section 4 – state of nature → god’s will of how he intended life should be for men in the state of nature</span>

 

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Chapter 2 section 8 – supports it by describing how as a society we should shift away from state of nature by introducing this idea that if you’re in the state of nature you can punish people, but it is better to give this natural right to a government.</span>

 

<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Chapter 2 section 13 → it is unreasonable to make people judges because people can be biased and they can punish people for revenge ad if they hold grudges then can go too far in punishing regressors. Civil government is the proper remedy for the state of nature</span>
