What advice would you give to transfers who are currently at community college?

Keep those grades up and hustle hard! Your hard work will be rewarded.

What was your biggest fear about transferring to UC San Diego?

How hard the academic life would be.

What part of your transition was most difficult?

Getting used to the quarter system after being used to semesters.

Why choose the PATH Program?

It seemed like a great opportunity to get a head start.

How has the PATH program helped you?

It connected me with good friends and got me ready for the quarter system. Plus it introduced me to many of the ins and outs of campus and technology.

What was the most difficult part of the PATH Program for you?

Nothing, I loved and enjoyed it all.

What UCSD resources do you find yourself using the most?

The SVRC (Student Veterans Resource Center) and the Career Center.

What tips would you tell future students about the UC San Diego campus?

Get a motorcycle for parking. Just kidding. Get on campus early or use regents parking lot and shuttle in to campus

What activities or organizations are you involved with on campus? How has it been so far?
