On Wednesday April 25th, the Casa Familiar cohort travelled down to the Casa Familiar Recreation Center for from HIUS 144 for the toy making workshop lead by artist Rizzhel Javier and the folks from the New Children’s Museum. The conversations and questions directed toward the children were in regards to their experiences making themselves into a doll at the workshop. The children described their families’ lives, who the doll was for, their interest, and other varying topics. The children were excited and happy to participate in the hands-on activity.
