The Race and Oral History Project partners with community-based grassroots organizations in the Greater San Diego region that serve to empower historically marginalized communities, including migrants, refugees and detainees. The oral history interviews record the stories of the individuals doing this work. The project emphasizes the slow work of building long-term and reciprocal relationships that outlast that moment in time.
