Hi everyone! My name is Taylor and I am one of the Muir First Year Experience discussion leader for this quarter. I am a Math Education major in John Muir College, also this is only my third year here at UCSD so bare with me if I don’t have all the answers either. I have been interested in teaching since I was in middle school and managed to come here and only change my major one time! Aside from my professional aspirations, I work at the Bookstore on campus at Customer Service so if you’re in there when I am working feel free to stop by and say hi! I was also involved with the Muir Mentor Program which is where I got the idea to become a discussion leader while talking to my “mentee” about his experience in FYE. It is my goal that with this seminar you all will gain confidence in this new part of your life and you feel comfortable to use me as a resource if you ever need help along with the other resources on campus.
