Some of us have abandoned substantive writing assignments altogether, finding it too time-consuming, and at times too disheartening, to justify the effort. Can responding to student writing be made (at least) less onerous, and (at best) more effective in producing positive change in students’ writing? Join this discussion with the Director of the Writing Hub, Matt Nelson, who will share alternative practices for responding to student writing.
