The University Report, September 18, 1985, UCSD Student Newspapers. Special Collection & Archives, UC San Diego Library

This is a very rare resource, as it is difficult to see newspaper templates and styles from earlier years in this day and age. I am thankful that these historic documents have been left on record through a digital resource to contribute to the understanding of UCSD’s history for us now and for those who will come after us. This digital resource makes it easier for future UCSD students to learn about the school’s history and helps them better understand the reasons for its expansion.
