Hello everyone! I will be your Discussion Leader this quarter for the FYE Program. I am very excited for this quarter and I look forward to getting to know everyone! My name is Belen and I am a third year undergrad student here at UCSD. My major is Sociology and I also have a minor, which is Education Studies. I decided to be a DL this quarter because I want to become a High School teacher in the future and I figured that this was an excellent opportunity to gain some valuable teaching experience. Through this program I hope to maximize your academic success and personal well-being. I am not a transfer student, but I know what it feels like to feel completely lost in a huge campus, because I am a first generation student.
