This group is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, collaborative, and critical Digital Humanities culture at UC San Diego. Students, faculty, and staff from all areas of campus are welcome to post relevant news, events, resources, and questions to the group forum.

We also have a smaller digital humanities research group, which facilitates communication about its bi-weekly meetings here: https://knit.ucsd.edu/groups/luddites.

      Hi all,

      As part of the Association of Research Libraries Digital Scholarship Institute hosted at the UC San Diego Library, Dr. Angel David Nieves will be giving a talk on his research in digital humanities. Dr. Nieves’s scholarly work and community-based activism critically engage with issues of race and the built environment in cities across the Global South (more info + RSVP here). We are looking forward to have him share his ideas with us!
      Though the Institute is open only to registered participants, we are excited to open up his talk (9am Friday 1/12) along with a free breakfast (8am-9am) to 30 UCSD campus members. Those who come for the breakfast will have a chance to connect with 30 ARL librarians from across the country who are participating in the Institute. Please feel free to forward to other campus members and makes sure to RSVP here.
