I’m using this group thread as a space to collect ideas about possible outputs for our research group. Feel free to add your own at any point.

      –design/development pitch for knit

      –knit collaboration with other students/departments/schools

–create and disseminate zines (buttons, music, art, manifestos, stories,  … ) about research issues

–conference presentation (such as at the hastac conference)

–host conference/speaking event at ucsd library or virtually

–develop online library of critical tech readings

–interview individuals working in different tech areas on campus (and post interviews on knit)

–collaborate with computer science department or digital humanities research group

Regarding the conference idea, it would be amazing if we did a panel or a presentation on KNIT R&D for the Arts and Humanities conference. I’m aware that the conference is still being planned for this year and this is probably premature, but I just wanted to put this out there as possibility. It was fun to have it last year and I think it would be a good platform for KNIT to be introduced.

That’s a great idea, Michelle! Thanks for documenting it here so we don’t
      forget.
