The main goals I have for our discussion section together are (1) to foster a space of collaborative learning where everyone feels safe to contribute to the conversation, (2) for me to be a resource that each of you feels comfortable to come to with questions, concerns, or just to chat, and (3) for each of you to go into the rest of your freshman year (and rest of your college experience) with a better understanding of how to navigate UCSD and college life in general.
On the first day of discussion, we will be constructing community guidelines together as a class, and I will post them one this page.
