Sending an invite to the Digital Humanities research meeting tomorrow in the Library. I will be briefly discussing our R&D group and would love to have some of you there if you have time and interest. See below.

You are invited to join the Digital Humanities Research Group’s first meeting of Fall 2018. Please RSVP here if you plan to attend as we want to make sure we have sufficient space.
2 – 4 pm Friday, Oct 12; Redwood Room, UC San Diego Library (meet in front entrance)
We will be discussing Digital Humanities projects and events this fall, including:
— learning python through text mining the UCSD student newspaper
— the student participatory action research group for KNIT (KNIT R&D)
— opportunities for using critical digital methods in teaching and research
— opportunities for reading about critical issues in the digital humanities
— opportunities for sharing our research with one another
— your ideas for events, projects, and collective research
