We’ve been working on this Mayan Tablet replica for a while now. It was apparently a pretty big find when the original was dug up in Belize two years ago, and it’s made some big news since. Our shoddy 3D printed version wasn’t doing the piece justice so I thought I’d try casting the print in resin, then polishing it up. I’m happy with the result, but would be happier if I could figure out how to make it look more like jade.
