Why are the arts & humanities important to you? What role can they play in making a better world?

Reflection is an important part of producing knowledge and directing future learning goals. Sharing reflections is an important part of producing knowledge communities.

Before the summer institute concludes, we’d like you to share a reflection about your experience at the Summer Institute and comment upon a reflection of one of your peers. These reflections will be kept private to the PATH group.

Please share a reflection (minimum 200 words) on one of the following topics:

• Why are the arts & humanities important to you?
• What role can the arts & humanities play in making a better world?
• Share with us something you learned during the Institute that enhanced your understanding of the arts & humanities.
• How can we make the arts & humanities more interesting and meaningful to the general public?
