Joshua Chiu, a student at UC San Diego, California. Joshua during his interview shared with me different personal issues such as being the first generation to go to college. In addition, the cultural influence of him having Mexican and Asian ancestry and finally his desires to finish college as well as the pressure he feels from his family and culture. This interview covers topics such as immigration, Mexican culture, Asian culture, education, family pressure, and music.
The interview was conducted via Zoom in order to practice social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview was conducted by Angela Tohalino Paredes, a fourth-year International Business student at UCSD who is interested in finance, cultural diversity, and integrating the supply chain into a business.
