I was able to clear time in my schedule today to go to Casa during after school tutoring. A couple of students came into the center that needed help with homework. I was helping one student who was writing. He had to write sentences with the word that was provided as well as practice that letter. He was very young so it was hard to get him to pay attention but together we learned how to spell words and come up with our own sentences. It was really fun to be with the kids and come up with creative ways for them to be interested in their homework.
