The PATH program has done well to foster fruitful faculty connections that have produced collaborative research, the sharing of culturally responsive pedagogy, and a deepened understanding of preparing community-college students for transfer and success at a research university. The UC San Diego-SDCCD faculty steering committee meets regularly to discuss the goals, content and methods of a humanities education, and to strengthen the vision for the Collaborative.

UC San Diego and SDCCD works to maintain the collaborative steering committee while simultaneously fostering an environment of innovative initiatives from faculty that supports student recruitment and transfer, as well as student success of UC San Diego and SDCCD students.
